Connecting Systems
In this section I will be providing two step-by-step guides to proprerly connecting games systems. The first being the PlayStation 3 a system from the seventh generation of consoles and the second will be its predecessor the PlayStation 2
PlayStation 3
Step One
Start By finding the power lead and taking the blunt end with three slots, then find the port on the far right of the console with the power switch above it.

Service Twoplug the lead into the port, making sure it is in firmly and isent loose, then flick the switch to the "on" position.

Service ThreeAt the other end of the lead find the plug.

Step Four
Insert the plug into a mains plug socket and flick the switch so the power is on.

Step Five
The next step is to find an HDMI cable, take on end and find the appropreate port on the back of the console.

Step Six
Insert The HDMI cable into its port on the console, check it isn't loose before continuing.

Step Seven
Somtimes your television/monitor may not have the appropreate port for your console, inthis case find a convertor cable that will fit both your monitor and the HDMI cable.

Step Eight
First connect the HDMI to your convertor cable, make sure the two screws are secured tightly.

Step Nine
Find the correct port on the back of your Television or monitor.
|
Step Ten
Plug the cable in, just like step eight make sure it is screwed in tightly.

Step Eleven
Now Insert the disk of your choice of game with the desplay side up.

Step TwelveTo connect a controller simply press and hold the center button with the playstation logo untill one of the light at the top is on and stays on.

PlayStation 2
Step Four
plug in the single flat end into the back of the console just underneath the powr cable.

Step Five
At the other end of the cabe there are three coloured prongs, take these and then find the three coloured ports on your television.

Step Six
Plug in all three prongs into the correctly coloured holes.
